| *Longhair Doxies* It is a common misconception about Longhair doxies that they require grooming, shed more, and are higher maintenance than their smooth coat counterparts. Generally, all that is required is a brush behind the ears 1-2 times a week. They also do not shed more than the smooth coats. Actually, some smooth coat doxies shed more than them. |
